Rules for a safe call
- Keep your background anonymous — no street signs, mail, school or work logos.
- Never send money, gift cards or codes to anyone you met on GoLive, and never move the conversation to another app in the first minutes. Both are the standard openings of a scam.
- Assume anything on camera can be recorded by the other person's device.
- Do not share your address, workplace or full name until you have known someone for a long time.
- Review the operator’s rules and support information. Keep private details out of view, do not share account codes, and leave an interaction that feels uncomfortable. No guide can guarantee another person’s behaviour.
